Hi Bill:I just wanted to thank you for all the good things you have done with my ponies. Alley is doing so well. She is so light to handle and has grown up a lot.She played with my big ball and blanketed without any fuss the other day. I can't wait to see how she turns out next year. She seems to keep growing though......:)
I took Skipper up to a play day at Thorogold the other evening - the first time I have had him out with other horses. He behaved like a pro! He loaded up, and did all his games like he went out and did them all the time - and looked very cute doing them too! You have also helped another of my horses you haven't met. I started rubbing my little high-headed Arab on the poll and she just dropped her head and drooled! It has just made it so much easier to encourage her to relax and bring her head down under saddle. We still have a long way to go, but you have probably saved her back from a lot of unnecessary stress. I really appreciate the work you do.
Thanks again.

Thank you very much Bill and Angie for helping me and Dixie to understand each other better. Right now, I am more excited about my horse than I have been for many years. It seems like things are finally coming together. There is still much to learn, but I do have a much better relationship with Dixie than 2 years ago.
Successfully combining my archery and horseback interests on Sunday afternoon was of course the highlight of my weekend - the icing on the cake. I have been involved in archery since I was 10 years old and been riding horses for 20 years. Sunday afternoon was the first time I had successfully combined the two.
My past attempts to shoot bows and arrows from horseback were most unpleasant. I was also very happy about improving my gait transitions, backing, stops, keeping Dixie from crowding me, and trying lateral moves. It is quite apparent that in many cases I need to apply less pressure and be in less of a hurry. I'll keep working on it.

I spent the whole drive home smiling, with the occasional tear of joy streaming down my face thinking about Chance's first ride in the woods! I'm so happy with his progress and am really excited to see him make it! I can see a calmer, smarter, braver horse than a few short weeks ago. With your help, we can make it. Thank you both for what you have done and continue to do for horses and their humans. The world is a better place with you both in it!!!
Have a great weekend!
Love,
Shannon

"Inspirational" is the best word to describe Bill as a teacher. Before I met Bill, I had owned horses for over twenty years, but I knew little about horses. I knew I needed help with the horse I began riding in 1996. Erma is a hot blooded, emotional horse. When we started learning from Bill in 1998, Erma and I were nowhere. Erma presented me with just about every difficulty you can think of. It is a good thing Bill has a lot of patience, because Erma and I have required it! Bill has provided the inspiration that I have needed to keep me going through many discouraging "episodes". Today, Erma is a pleasure to ride and can handle herself well on the trail, with cows, and pulling a cart. She is also on her way to becoming a competent dressage horse. Thank you, Bill!
